  Edna M. Hoover, 86, of Stoystown, formerly of Hooversville, died Dec. 29,
  2003, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset.  Born Jan. 18, 1917, in
  Quemahoning Township, she is the daughter of John F. and Elsie
  (Gindlesperger) Shaver.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, George
  Hoover; brother, Merle Shaver and grandson, Scott Cassidy.  Survived by a
  daughter, JoAnn, married to Floyd Cassidy, Stoystown; granddaughters, Marci
  married to Thomas Cosens, Hagerstown, Md., Brandi married to Mark Darr,
  Acme, Beth married to Rev. Mark Mueller, ElCajon, Calif., Kelly married to
  Scott Vanek, Reiglesville, Amy married to Angelo Donia, Stoystown;
  granddaughter-in-law Anne Cassidy, Lawrenceville, Ga.; great-grandchildren
  Brian Cosens, Brandon and Sarah Cassidy, JoAnna, John and Joy Mueller,
  Caitlin and Allison Vanek and Olivia Darr and brothers Charles Shaver,
  Stoystown, Richard Shaver, Hooversville and William Shaver, Somerset. 
  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Hooversville, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev.
  Walter L. Startzel and Rev. Mark H. Mueller officiating.  Interment
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be sent to Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Hooversville, Pa. 15936.
