  ELIJAH ANDREW HOOVER
  
    Elijah Andrew Hoover, 90, Garrett RD 1, died April 27 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 1, 1881, in Brothersvalley Township, he was
  a son of the late William I. and Emma (Lighty) Hoover.
    Surviving are these sons, Franklin, Hutchinson, Pa.; Charles, Somerset RD
  5; Paul, Garrett RD 1; these daughters, Mrs. Charles Kelly, Garrett RD 1;
  Mrs. Orlo Pletcher, Rockwood RD 1.
    Also by three sisters, Mrs. Dallas Klink and Mrs. Roy Snyder, both of
  Rockwood 1 and Mrs. Trevor James of Georgia; 18 grandchildren, 35 great
  grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Cook) Hoover; four sons,
  two daughters, three brothers and five sisters.
    He was superintendent of the Blackfield Sunday School for 40 years.
    Services were conducted in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood,
  April 30.  Interment in the Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
