    Ellen Irene Hoover, 90, Rockwood, died Sept. 9, 2006. Born March 24, 1916, in Wilson
  Creek, she is the daughter of the late Robert W. and Rosie Idella (Willison) Carolus.
  Also preceded in death by husband, Earl W. Hoover; sister, Bessie Barber; brothers, Bob,
  Merle, Earl and Elwood Carolus; grand-son, Norman "David" Carson Jr.; and nephew,
  Clarence Barber. Survived by children: Harry C. Boden, Griffin, Ga., Dorothy M. Berkley,
  Rockwood and Caroline Louise Harkcom, Somerset; grandchildren, Ray Wilhelm, Mary Meyers,
  Dianne Vought, Kenneth Wilhelm, Gregory Wilhelm, Jody O'Neal, Hope Cochran, Dale Harkcom,
  Noreen Fritz, Kathy Custer, Lisa Carson, Alan Carson and Dorothy Dennison; 27
  great-grand-children and 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
  Retired from Gilmour Manufacturing. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday
  in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be held at 1 p.m.
  Tuesday. The Rev. Mark Ongley officiating. Interment, Sanner Cemetery.
