  HAER-HOOVER
  
    Elsie Mae Haer-Hoover, 93, of Garrett died June 19, 1994, at Meyersdale
  Hospital.  Born April 27, 1901, in Summit Township, Daughter of Austin
  Walters and Ida Hoover.  Preceded in death by parents; husbands, Earl T.
  Haer, and Richard C. Hoover; children: Eleve and Aletha Haer; JoAnn Hoover
  Burkholder, Harold Haer and Floyd Haer; grandsons-Harold Haer Jr. and
  Richard C. Haer; brothers: Saul and Glenn Walters, and sisters: Viola
  Walters and Missouri Haer.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Harold (Helen)
  Christner of Garrett, Mrs. Blaine (Phyllis) Vought, Perry, Ohio; James
  Hoover, married to former Betty Wedge, Soughtington, Ohio, and Robert
  Hoover, married to the former Betty Lohr, Garrett; stepson, Norval Hoover,
  married to former Regina Judy, Garrett; daughter-in-law, Frances Haer,
  Meyersdale, and half-brother, Elwood Walters, Garrett; also 23
  grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. 
  Also numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church,
  Garrett.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to
  4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.  Viewing from 10
  a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Rev.
  Charles L. Lady.  Interment, Center Church Cemetery.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett, Pa. 15542.
