    Elva R. Hoover, 61, Confluence RD 3, died April 18, 1990, at Conemaugh
  Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Jan. 4, 1929, in Confluence, a
  daughter of Charles Nicholson of Confluence and the late Oretta Christena
  (Rugg) Nicholson.  Also surviving are her husband, Glenn, three sons;
  Leonard of Confluence, Glenn Jr., and Telford both of Fort Hill, two
  daughters; Jacqueline Conn, and Melva Conway both of Confluence.  Fourteen
  grandchildren, a twin brother, Alvin Nicholson of Confluence, and brothers;
  Gabriel Nicholson, Fort Hill, Roger Nicholson, Listonburg, Reece Nicholson,
  Confluence, and Rampsey Nicholson of Sewell, N.J.  Four sisters; Norma
  Snyder of Accident, Md.; Cindy Sheaffer of Apollo, Joyce Porterfield of
  Confluence, and Leesta Lichty of Listonburg, also a nephew Darwin Kemp of
  Mantua, N.J.  Preceded in death by sister, Vilda Holliday.  Friends
  received from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday with the Rev.
  Thomas Charles officiating.  Interment, Silbaugh Cemetery.
