She was born on Dec. 18, 1854, in Elk Lick Twp., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Lichty. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Surviving are nine children - Isaiah, mentioned above; Elijah, Garrett R.D.; Harry, Somerset; Mrs. William H. Werner, Rockwood R.D.; Mrs. Edward C. Weimer, Indian Head, Pa.; Mrs. Roy C. Snyder and Mrs. Dallas Klink, both of Rockwood; Mrs. Trevor James, Johnstown, and Mrs. Noah Heiple, Somerset. Funeral services were held Monday, at 2 p.m. at the Konhaus Funeral Chapel, Meyersdale, Rev. Kenneth Ashman officiating. Burial in the Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Mrs. Hoover leaves 164 lineal descendants - nine children, 51 grandchildren, 95 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Meyersdale Republican, August 9, 1945
