  EVAN E. HOOVER
  
  Evan E. Hoover, 86, Somerset, died June 6, 2004, at his residence.  Born
  Sept. 11, 1917, in Somerset, the son of the late Ernest and Marion (Adams)
  Hoover.  Also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ruth (Bittner) Hoover,
  grandson, Joshua Hoover and sisters, Leora Eller and Mary Louise Hay.
  Survived by sons, Lynn Hoover, married to the former Andrea Ridilla,
  Somerset, and Randy Hoover, Somerset; three grandchildren and sisters,
  Hazel Thomas and Nancy Balough, both of Somerset; and brother, Paul Hoover,
  Stoystown.  Member of Beulah United Methodist Church, VFW and veteran of
  World War II.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Robert
  H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
  Pastor Brenda Shaffer officiating.  Interment in Weller Cemetery.
