  HOOVER
  
  George E. Hoover, 54, Garrett RD 1 died suddenly May 8, 1977 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born January 26, 1923 in Rockwood.  A son of the late
  George H. Hoover.  Survived by mother Mrs. Anna (Baker) Hoover, Rockwood;
  also his widow, Virginia (Sell); three children: George and Mrs. Linda
  Hotchkiss, Meyersdale; Wayne, at home; one grandchild.  He was a brother of
  Herbert C., Rockwood RD 1; and Galen, Somerset; Mrs. Blanch Ohler,
  Levittown.  He was a vet from World War II.  Friends are being received at
  the Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be Wednesday at
  2 p.m. with the Rev. Lloyd Trout.  Interment, the Reform Cemetery.
