  Hazel M. Hoover, 62, of Markleton RD 1, died Aug. 23, 1984, at Garrett RD
  1.  Born April 15, 1922, in Garrett, the daughter of Edna (Haer) Christner
  of Somerset and the late Jacob Christner.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, Cloyd M., Sr.; a son, Roy; and a brother, Sprawls.  Survived by
  these children: Cloyd M., Jr.; Garrett RD 1; and Mrs. Ardith Knopsnyder,
  Markleton RD 1; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  A
  sister of Tom and Harold, both of Garrett RD 1; Mack of Garrett; Mrs.
  Miriam Stephens, Somerset; Mrs. Barbara Meyers, Meyersdale; Mrs. Arlene
  Houston, Chardon, Ohio; Mrs. Nancy Stoner, Murraysville; and Mrs. Mary
  Hanks, Friedens.  Friends are being received at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 o'clock p.m. Saturday,
  the Rev. Ray Davis officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
