  JESSIE MAY HOOVER
  
    Jessie May Hoover, 81, of Berlin, died Friday, Aug. 25, 1989, at her
  residence.
    Born March 28, 1908 in Friendsville, Md., she was the daughter of the
  late Lafayette and Margaret (Riley) Uphold.
    Her husband, Telford Hoover, died Jan. 12, 1987.
    Surviving are three sons, Glenn L. Hoover, Confluence; Arnold E. Hoover,
  Meyersdale; and Stanley R. Hoover, Berlin; three sisters, Matha Teets and
  Faye Wakefield, both of Friendsville, Md.; and Mabel Rexrode, of Virginia;
  13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where
  services were conducted on Sunday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Sherman Berkey.
    Interment, Blooming Rose Cemetery, Friendsville, Md.
