JOHN O. HOOVER

  John O. Hoover, aged 84, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, 
Mrs. Grant Heiple, who resides a short distance southwest of Somerset, following 
a brief illness of pneumonia.  He was taken ill last Wednesday.
  Mr. Hoover's wife, Mrs. Catherine (Sweitzer) Hoover, passed away eight months 
ago.  He is survived by the daughter, mentioned above, and a brother, William 
Hoover, of Garrett.
  Funeral services were held in St. Paul's Reformed Church, Somerset, conducted 
by Rev. Dr. George L. Roth.  Interment in the Husband Cemetery.
