  Luella Meredith (Kister) Hoover, 86, of Somerset, died Feb. 25, 2003 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born February 27, 1916 in Somerset Township, she is the
  daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Elizabeth (Landis) Kister.  Also
  preceded in death by her husband, Harvey to whom she was married Sept. 1,
  1938 in the Reform Church parsonage by Dr. George L. Roth.  Brothers: Oran,
  Clyde, Clifford and Warren and infant sister, Mildred.  Survived by
  sisters-in-law: Jan Kister of Somerset, Alice Trent of Hubbard, Ohio,
  Virginia Hoover of Cortland, Ohio, Pauline Hoover of Davidsville, Edna
  Walker of Somerset and brother-in-law Glenn M. Walker of Somerset.  Also
  numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of St. Paul's United church of Christ
  and a graduate of Somerset High School.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where a service will
  be held at 1 p.m. Friday with Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating.  Interment
  in Somerset County Memorial Park.
