  HOOVER
  
  Paul "Budd" R. Hoover, 76, of Garrett died July 4, 2000 at Meyersdale
  Medical Center.  Born May 10, 1924 in Brothersvalley Township, he is the
  son of the late Elijah and Mary Ann (Cook) Hoover.  Also preceded in death
  by brothers, Frank, Freddie and three infant brothers.  Sisters, Esther
  Pletcher, Pearl Rubright and Geraldine Hoover and a grandchild.  Survived
  by his wife, the former Leona Dupont whom he married on Sept. 19, 1951;
  sons, Richard Hoover married to the former Debbie Butler, of Garrett, James
  Hoover and friend Dana Lowery of Garrett and Keith Hoover married to the
  former Julie Little of Berlin.  Ten grandchildren and six
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Florence Kelly of Garrett and brother
  Charles Hoover of Somerset.  Attended Blackfield Church, retired from
  Coleman Company with 15 years of Service [sic]
  
  
  .  Member of United Steel Workers Union and operated his sawmill since
  retirement.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be held at 10 a.m.
  Thursday with the Rev. Donald Judy officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF
  Cemetery.
