  RICHARD C. HOOVER
  
    Richard C. Hoover, 77, of Garrett, died Sept. 25, 1972, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 17, 1894, in Garrett, he was a son of the
  late James and Susan (Hemminger) Hoover. 
    Surviving are his wife, the former Elsie M. (Walters) Haer; and these
  children: Norval Hoover, Garrett; Harold Haer, Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Harold
  (Helen) Christner, Garrett; Floyd Haer, Meyersdale; Mrs. Blaine (Phyllis)
  Vought, Mentor, Ohio; Richard J. Hoover, Southington, Ohio; Mrs. Richard
  (Joan) Burkholder and Robert Hoover, both of Garrett; 25 grandchildren,
  nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Earl Hoover, Garrett.
    Funeral service will be held at two o'clock this (Thursday) afternoon in
  Johnson and Son Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Robert Robertson
  officiating.  Interment in Center Church Cemetery, Garrett.
