  Robert Emmett Hoover, 81, of Missouri Valley RD 3, Box 90, Iowa, died May
  13, 1987, at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha, Neb.  Born July 28, 1905, son
  of the late Hiram and Minerva (Kuhs) Hoover of Rockwood.  Preceded in death
  by his parents; brothers, Harold and Charles; and sisters, Sara Secrest,
  Ruby Ravencraft and Mable Uphold.  Survived by his wife, Edith, of
  Magnolia, Iowa; sons: Robert, Spangdahlem Air Force Base, Germany; and
  James, Affutt AFB, Nebraska; and daughter, Ruth Beck of Scott AFB, Illinois.
