"Bob" Hoover, 70, of Hutchinson died Sept. 10, 2000 at Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1930 in Garrett. A son of the late Frank E. and Dorothy E. (Sterner) Hoover. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Robert Dean Hoover in 1973. He is survived by his wife Audrey (Yutzy) Hoover, a son, Timothy Hoover and his wife Becky of Greensburg, a daughter Mrs. Nadene "Sue" and her husband Terry Decker of N. Carolina, four grandchildren, Malia and Jessica, Tarin and Lakin. He will be sadly missed by his "little buddy" Mitzy. Mr. Hoover "Bob" was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement Bob was employed as a truck driver with B&P Motor Express, Irwin with 21 years of service. He was a member of Teamsters Local 30 and the Herminie United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Joseph W. Nickels Funeral Home, Inc., Herminie where a funeral service will be held at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Carl Ritenour officiating. Additional visitation will be held from 2 until 3 p.m. Thursday the time of service at the Garrett United Methodist Church, with Mr. David Klink officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Rockwood Cemetery, Somerset. Daily American, September 12, 2000 [H1532]
