  THOMAS HOOVER
  
    Thomas Hoover, 72, of Star Route, Grantsville, Maryland, died at his
  residence, July 11, 1984.
    Born in Jennings, he was a son of the late Louis Hoover and Stella May
  (Stein) Hoover.
    Preceded in death by his wife, Freda M. (Bittinger) Hoover, he is
  survived by a son, Marvin Hoover, Meyersdale; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine
  Wilt, Grantsville and Mrs. Leota Bollman, Boynton; three brothers, Albert
  Hoover, Albright, W.Va.; Elmer Hoover, Accident; and James Hoover,
  Friendsville; five sisters, Mrs. Eva Wilburn, Mrs. Edna Broadwater, Mrs.
  Annie Wilburn, all of Grantsville; Mrs. Nora Patton, Friendsville, and Mrs.
  Nora Stanton, Accident and 14 grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were held
  with the Rev. John Thomas officiating.  Interment will be in Bittinger
  Cemetery.
