    Ione Hausmann Hoppes, 93, died Nov. 19, 2006, at the West Port Health Care Center in
  Richmond, Va. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Hoppes; her two sons, Paul
  (and Nancy) Hoppes and Frank (and Dianne) Hoppes, Richmond, Va.; three grandchildren,
  Pamela and Daniel Hoppes and Heather Hoppes-Proffitt. She was a 42-year member of the
  National Story League in New Cumberland and Faith United Church of Christ, also in New
  Cumberland. Mrs. Hoppes was a retired school teacher. She was a graduate of Sunbury High
  School, Ursinus College and Easton Hospital School of Medical Technology. She taught in
  Somerset high school and was a 20-year volunteer in Dauphin County Library System.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Kline Library, 530 S. 29th St., Harrisburg, PA
  17104, or Faith United Church of Christ, 1120 Drexel Hills Blvd., New Cumberland, PA
  17070. There will be a memorial service 2 p.m. Saturday at the Auer Memorial Home and
  Cremation Service Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
