    Elizabeth J. Hopps, 83, of Jenners, formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Jan.
  11, 1990, at Mercy Hospital Nursing Care Center.  Born March 14, 1906, in
  Conemaugh Township, daughter of John N. and Ellen (Beener) Grasser. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, William; son, William;
  granddaughter, Kelly A. Urbassik; 10 sisters and brothers.  Survived by
  these children: Evelyn Flanagan and Fred, married to the former Virginia
  Vetter, both of Long Island, N.Y., and Anna Layton, Jenners; 14
  grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Margaret Thomas, Boswell;
  Joseph, Johnstown; Jacob, Lancaster.  Also survived by numerous nieces and
  nephews.  Member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Brooklyn, N.Y.;
  I.L.G.W.U.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday
  at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny St., Boswell, where wake service will be
  held 8 p.m. Sunday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday, St.
  Joseph's Catholic Church, Boswell, Rev. Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli. 
  Interment, O'Connor Cemetery.
