    Duane W. Horner, 74, Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin, formerly of Windber, died
  March 1, 2006, at Meadow View. Born Dec. 23, 1931, in Jenner Township, son of Harry L.
  and Elvera (Berkey) Horner. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Carl, Robert and
  Donald; and sister-in-law, Wanda A. (Kauffman) Horner. Survived by brothers and sisters,
  Betty J., married to Glenn Smith, Menoher Heights; Doris E., married to Edmund Horner,
  Somerset; Jack C., married to the former Joyce (Hershberger) Davidhizar, Conemaugh
  Township, James L., Markleton; and Thomas L., married to the former Celine Hoffman,
  Thomas Mills. Also survived by numerous other relatives. Viewing will be held from 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Davidsville, where a
  service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. The Pastor Larry C. Hoover officiating.
  Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery.
