  MARY GRACE (ALWINE) HORNER
  
  Mary Grace (Alwine) Horner, 84, North Fork Dam Road, Jenner Township, died
  April 6, 2004, at home.  Born Aug. 28, 1919, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset
  County, daughter of Harvey R. and Annie (Keafer) Alwine.  Preceded in death
  by parents; husband Ira R. "Smokey," Nov. 3, 1976; son, Harold J. Dec. 4,
  2002; an infant son; sisters, Olive Adams, Mildred Woy and Flornel Forsyth
  and brothers Emil, Clyde and Wayne Alwine.  Survived by children, Harvey R.
  Horner Sr., married to Verna Kaufman; Carol Joy Horner, Ira William "Bill"
  Horner, Wayne E. "Gene" Horner, married to Helen Gordon, Kenneth R. "Bud"
  Horner and Sue A., married to Ray "Red" Rose, all of Jenner Township; four
  grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Sister of Virgie Beahr,
  Boswell RD and Harold Alwine, Chambersburg. Loved to cook and care for her
  family.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at
  10 a.m. Friday.  The Rev. Donald Speigle officiating.  Interment, Horner Farm
  Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 400 Luray
  Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15904 or the American Diabetes Association, Box 2680,
