Horner, M.D., 49, Lake Forest Drive, Augusta, Ga., entered into rest on March 26, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital. Preceded in death by father, Thomas W. Horner Sr., and sister, Patricia L. Kindberg. Survivors include: Daughter, Stefani Robertson, San Antonio, Texas; son, Jeffrey N. Robertson, New Braunfels, Texas; mother, Dorothy Horner, Martinez, Ga.; sister, Peggy McClintock, Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Thomas W. Horner Jr., New Britain, Conn., and Terry Horner Normalville; four nephews, four nieces and two great-nephews and two great-nieces. A native of Somerset, Dr. Horner was a physician with Augusta Internal Medicine Associates. Before coming to Augusta, she was the Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas, Assistant Professor of Medicine at University Hospital, UTHSC SA, Hospitalist, Gulf Coast Medical Clinic in Association with Spohn Hospital System, Gulf Coast Medical Clinic Inpatient and Outpatient, Audie Murphy VA Hospital admitting officer of the day, Triage and Research, Minority Biomedical Research Support Program. She graduated from University of West Florida with a computer science major, the University of Texas, San Antonio with a B.S. in chemistry and medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where Dr. Horner completed her residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Horner was awarded the Shirley P. Levine, M.D. Compassion Award, UTHSCA, Alpha Chi National Honor Society, UTSA, the American Institute of Chemists Students Research and Foundation Award for outstanding senior student majoring in Chemistry, Certificate of Award for Outstanding Accomplishments in the Field of Chemistry and University of Texas, San Antonio, Division of Chemistry Award. Dr. Horner was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Texas State Board of Medical Examiners Physicians License and Georgia State Board of Physicians. Other than the love Pam had for her family, and the care and compassion she provided to her patients, she had many interests. She was an artist, loved to sew, enjoyed crafts, and avid gardener and a gourmet cook. She will be dearly missed, always loved and never forgotten. Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday at Platt's Belair Road Chapel. The Rev. Miguel de Peralta officiating. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, 2260 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, Ga. 30904.
