  HORNER
  
    Ruth B. O'Roark Horner, 71, Richland Towers, Johnstown, died March 25,
  1990, at home.  Born Jan. 23, 1919, in Quemahoning Township.  Daughter of
  Terrence Metzgar and Margaret (Mostoller) Metzgar O'Roark Helvey.  Preceded
  in death by parents, husband, Joe O'Roark, and sister, Betty Metzgar. 
  Survived by these children: James O'Roark, Sherrillsford, N.C.; Mrs. Thomas
  (Betty Jo) Gavlak, Elton, and Jack, married to the former Susan Sipe,
  Ogletown.  Grandchildren: Jamie Hoyle, Brook, Jeremy, Josie and Jake
  O'Roark, and Steven, Stephanie, and Heather Gavlak.  Also four
  stepchildren.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing at Grace Lutheran Church from 9
  a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Paul Morris and Rev. Walter
  J. Emswiler officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
