  Ruth (Josie) Horner, 60, Pine Street, Davidsville, died Dec. 12, 1977 at
  Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born April 30, 1917 in
  Barnesboro, Pa., daughter of Edward (Buck) and Elizabeth (Finn) Joseph. 
  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by husband, John B., and these
  children: David and Daniel, at home; Dirk, St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister of
  Edward E., married to Audrey Cooper of Pittsburgh.  She was an active
  member of the Bethel United Methodist Church of Hollsopple.  Secretary for
  PARC and was a past president of the organization.  Graduate of Ferndale
  High School Class of 1933 and Juniata College, Class of 1937.  School
  teacher at Conemaugh Township Area School District for 33 years.  Member of
  Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority.  Death breaks a marriage unit of 32 years. 
  Family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Wednesday in the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville.  Funeral
  services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel United Methodist
  Church where remains will lie in state from 12:30 until time of service, The
  Rev. Robert Callihan.  Interment, Kauffman Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,
  donations may be made to the PARC camp fund.
