  HORNING
  
    Clarence W. Horning, 90, of Meyersdale, died March 15, 1999, at Kyle's
  Personal Care Home, Meyersdale.  Born July 26, 1908, in Meyersdale, a son
  of the late Richard and Ida (Shumac) Horning.  Also preceded in death by
  his wife, the former Marion L. Hostetler; brothers: John, Bill, Harry, Ed,
  and George, and sister, Henreita.  Survived by a brother, James Horning,
  Meyersdale, and a sister, Mary Tattarelli, Berlin.  Also a number of nieces
  and nephews.  A member of the Amity United Church of Christ, Meyersdale, and
  Meyersdale Rotary Club.  Was the first charter member of the Laurel Falls
  Association.  Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service at
  3 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, with Pastor Ray
  Brown officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
