Horning, 80, Meyersdale, died June 2, 1982, in Berlin. He was born May 1, 1902, in Meyersdale, and was a son of the late Richard and Ida (Shumac) Horning. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Bill and Edward; and a sister, Henreita. He is survived by his wife, the former Leah Keim; and a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Patricia) Bowman, Salisbury. He was a brother of Clarence, Meyersdale; George, Berlin; James, Cape Coral, Fla.; and Mrs. Mary Tattarelli, Fort Myers, Fla. He was the owner-operator of the Horning Restaurant, Meyersdale for over 20 years; member of the Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Department and Moose Lodge No. 76. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest. Interment, Union Cemetery. The Republic, June 10, 1982 [H1615]
