  HOSKEN
  
    Charles L. Hosken, 88, of Berlin, died May 11, 1996, at Memorial Medical
  Center, Johnstown.  Born Feb. 5, 1908, in Garrett.  Son of John W. and
  Victoria (Harding) Hosken.  Precede in death by parents; wife, the former
  Catherine Jane Landis; infant son, Charles Ray; sisters: Cora Sechler and
  Orpha Baker; brother, Francis and infant brother, Walter.  Survived by
  sisters and brothers-in-law: Stell M. Hosken, Phoebe L. Hosselton, Ruth L.
  Kammer, Rev. Ralph G. Landis and Guy and Geraldine Raupach and friend Marie
  Leazier; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of United Mine Workers of
  America.  Worked for state Department of Highways and retired from Somerset
  County court operations.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at
  11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Ralph G. Landis.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
