  HOSKINS
  
  Dorothy V. Hoskins, 75, of Berlin, died Nov. 24, 2003, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born April 7, 1928, in Goodtown, she is the daughter of the late
  Joseph C. and Etta (Butler) Ferner.  She is survived by her husband of 25
  years John Hoskins, Berlin; daughter, Darlene, Indiana, Pa.; sister of
  Marie Moore, Schertz, Texas; Dee Maul and special friend Jerry Smith,
  Berlin; James Ferner and wife Janet, Tiffin, Ohio; nieces and nephews Carol
  Dickey, Debbie Willkow, and Ruth Ann Scott, Bill Maul, Dr. David Ferner;
  several great nieces and nephews; special friend Sally Klingensmith,
  Indiana, Pa.; and special 4-legged friend "KiKi".  She was a former nurses
  aide at the former Somerset County Home, and enjoyed bingo, playing cards,
  and trips to Atlantic City, N.J.  Family will receive friends from 1 p.m.
  until time of Memorial Service at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Berlin, with Rev. Glenn P. Foster and Rev. Ralph G. Landis
  officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the
  American Heart Association, 400 Luray Ave. Johnstown, Pa. 15904 or American
  Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680 North Canton, Ohio 44720.  Arrangements
  in charge of Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
