Hostetler, 56, of Meyersdale, died May 21, 1978, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born Feb. 25, 1922, in Meyersdale; he was a son of Florence (Middleton) McKenzie of Meyersdale and the late James B. Hostetler. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Helen Gnagey and a daughter, Mrs. Alexis Grew of Meyersdale. He was a brother of James Hostetler of Meyersdale; also 10 nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II, a past exulted ruler of BPOE, Lodge 1951, a member of LOOM No. 76, American Legion and VFW, employee of PennDOT for 13 years as a construction inspector, a member of United Church of Christ, Meyersdale. Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
