Born April 16, 1909, in Summit Township, son of the late Harvey and Anna (Heining) Hostetler. Survived by his wife, Margaret (Lyons) Hostetler, Rockwood; one step-son, Bernard Tressler, Houston, Pa.; one step-daughter, Audrey Landis, Rockwood; two step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter. Member of Rockwood Senior Citizens Organization, Laurel Sportsmenis Association, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Somerset, and Somerset VFW Post 554. Life-long member of Rockwood Volunteer Fire Company, where he was employed as a maintenance person for 22 years. Friends will be received in William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Center Church, Garrett RD 1, with pastor Kevin Kline and Rev. Russell Kessler officiating. Interment at Center Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
