John Hostetler, 58, of Moonlite Park Road, Hollsopple, died Jan. 20, 2000 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born March 15, 1941, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, the son of Glendon and Ethel (Weible) Hostetler. Preceded in death by father and brother, Richard. Survived by mother and by loving and devoted wife of 38 years, the former B. Kay Adams. Also survived by a brother, Wayne; and these children: Cindy, wife of Bryan Shetler; Greg, and Schott, married to the former Tricia Lehman; Missy, wife of David Felton; John L., married to former Renee Simmons; Teek, married to former Joanne Olsan; and grandchildren: Joe and David Shetler, Linnie, Kelsey and Anna Kay Hostetler, and Emily and Nicholas Felton. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and pap. He was a father and best friend to all. He was an ex-farmer, avid hunter and fisherman. Retired after 25 years service at UPS. Self-taught craftsman of many trades. A diehard Penn State and Dale Earnhardt fan. He was a reining groundhog king. A lover of life and family. Family receiving friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc., Davidsville. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Blough Mennonite Church, the Rev.
