Hostetler, 73, of Somerset went to be with the Lord on Nov. 6, 2003 in the Somerset Hospital. He was born Apr. 28, 1930 in Westmoreland County a son of the late Lloyd and Ruby Tinkey Hostetler. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a grandson, Ben A. Hostetler; two brothers, Kenneth and Willard Hostetler and three sisters, Arlene Stull, Orpha Geary and Isabel Hostetler. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice M. (Will) Hostetler; six children, Marjory Hostetler, David D. Hostetler and his wife Dorothy, Arthur J. Hostetler, Betty J. Countyman and her husband Roy L. Patricia a. Hostetler and Denny B. II and his wife Cindy S. Hostetler, all of Somerset; five grandchildren, Jeremy Hostetler of Somerset, Luke and Jay Hostetler of Connellsville, Amanda J. and Roy A. Hostetler, both of Somerset; two sisters, Evelyn Miller of Champion and Jean Woy of Somerset. Mr. Hostetler was retired from Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. He was a member of the Trent-Bakersville-Lavansville Rod and Gun Club and a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev.
