Hostetler, 61, of RD 3, Palmyra, Lebanon County, died Oct. 18, 1982, at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Salt Lick Township, Fayette County, daughter of the late Rev. J. Lloyd and Sadie (Reese) Nedrow. They had lived in the Sipesville area of Somerset County for several years. She graduated from Somerset High School Class of 1939. She was a retired special education teacher. She was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, where she was former superintendent of the primary department for several years, serving as a deaconess and was a member of the senior choir. She is survived by her husband, James R. Hostetler; one son, Vaughn R. of Palmyra; two daughters: Diane, wife of Gregory A. Summers, Palmyra; and Miss Donna L. Hostetler, at home; one granddaughter; also by one brother, Samuel L. Nedrow of Mechanicsburg; her stepmother, Mrs. Lizzie Nedrow, of Cross Keys Brethren Home; and one step-brother, Bert Reese, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Rothermel Funeral Home, South Railroad St., Palmyra, with burial in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Viewing Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. Daily American, October 19, 1982 [H1661]
