All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ _________________________________________ Hostetler, Effie Miss Effie Hostetler died about 2 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her parents, Joseph and Louisa Hostetler, near Jerome, where she was born December 1, 1897, on the farm on which Noah Hostetler now lives. She is survived by her parents, one brother, Norman, and one sister, Edna. She was a member of the Mennonite Church for about 12 years. Her illness began about six months ago, tuberculosis resulting in death. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon with the following pallbearers: Agnes Livingstone, Mary Livingstone, Elda Livingstone, Rosella Shetler, Sadie Thomas and Sadie Berkley. The services were conducted at the Blough Mennonite Church by James Saylor and Levi A. Blough, with interment in the church cemetery in charge of Undertaker Lohr, of Hooversville.
