  ELMER R. HOSTETLER
  
    Elmer R. Hostetler, 85, 207 Ottawa St., formerly of Bedford, died Jan. 2,
  1986, at home.
    He was born Oct. 26, 1900, in Summit Mills, son of late Henry C. and Cora
  (Beeghley) Hostetler.  He was preceded in death by brother, Curtis; sisters,
  Lota Boyer and Ruth Burke; and grandson, Richard C. Mitchell.
    He is survived by widow, former Edith R. Dodge, and these children: E.
  Randall, married to former Lucille Harvey, LaVale, Md.; Ellen R., wife of
  Carl Stuver, Johnstown; Ernest R., married to former Elvia Kimble,
  Harrisonburg, Va.; Edna R. Mitchell, Winter Garden, Fla.; Earl R., married
  to former Joyce Edwards, Dallas, Texas; Eva R., wife of Melroy Petry,
  Johnstown; Eugene R., married to former Naomi Mast, Silver Spring, Md.;
  Ervin R., married to former Carol Grayson, Middletown, Conn.; and Elinor
  R., wife of James Foster, Johnstown; also 33 grandchildren and 33
  great-grandchildren.
    He was a brother of Allen, Salix, Mrs. Nellie Markley, Mineral Point;
  Harry, Johnstown; Mrs. Norrene Graham, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Ada Landon,
  Mountain Lake Park, Md.; Henry, Mineral Point, Mrs. June Lochi, Palymra,
  Va.; and Mrs. Helen Mosser, Cumberland, Md.
    He was a member of Second Brethren Church; retired employee of Easton
  Motor Express, Bedford.
    Friends were received at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, where services
  were held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Donald Wagstaff.  Interment, Richland
  Cemetery.
