Hostetler, 91, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of Turkeyfoot Trail Road, Rockwood, also of Boswell, died April 20, 1999, at the manor. Born July 15, 1907, in Larimer Township, daughter of George and Sadie (Bittner) Caler. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edgar in 1976; stepson, Carl; brother: Frank, Floyd, Clarence, Ralph and Homer Caler, and sisters: Thelma Caler and Eva Braucher. Survived by daughter, Sara, wife of James W. Meyers, Rockwood; grandchildren: James II and Sheryl Meyers and step-grandson, Paul Hostetler. Also great-grandchildren: Kimberly, Stephanie, James III and Matthew Meyers, and step-great-grandson, Gregory Hostetler. Graduate of Sherwood Music Conservatory in Chicago, Ill. Member of the First Christian Church, Somerset, she was a music teacher and a choir director and organist in several different churches for over 50 years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. James Monticue officiating.
