Hostetler, 49, of 68 Water St., Frostburg, died July 23, 1973, at Baker VA Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va., where he had been a patient three weeks. A native of Greenville Township, he was a son of Robert and Mary (Bare) Hostetler of Pocahontas. Mr. Hostetler was owner and operator of the Frostburg Bakery and was a member of the Pocahontas Lutheran Church and the Owls, also of Farrady Post 24, American Legion, Frostburg FOE and Meyersdale BPO Elks. Besides his parents, he is survived by his widow, Martha (Lewis) Hostetler; a son, Terry Hostetler, Cumberland; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Linda Kay Carter, Norfolk, Va.; Bobbie Jean and Mary Martha Brown, at home; and a brother, Blaine Hostetler, Finzel Road. Funeral service will be held in Hafer-Sowers Funeral Home this (Thursday) afternoon at one o'clock with Rev. Donald F. Sause officiating.
