Hostetler, 70, died at his home in Somerset, Wednesday night, Jan. 5. He was a son of William and Jennie Knee Hostetler, both deceased. He was known to a large circle of friends as "Hal" and had been a tailor for many years. His wife, Mrs. Bessie Burnworth Hostetler survives, and the following children, Mrs. Abe Grow and Fleming Hostetler, both of Point Marion and Mrs. James Kooser, Somerset, also a brother, Paul Hostetler, whose wife died last week. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger Funeral Home with the Rev. J. F. Messenger officiating. Burial in the Husband Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, January 13, 1944
