Hostetler, 87, of 245 East Main St., Campbellton, Pa., died Dec. 11, 1976, at the Lebanon Valley Hospital, Lebanon. Formerly of Connellsville, he was born in Somerset County on Jan. 31, 1889, a son of the late Albert F. and Amanda (Marker) Hostetler. He is survived by one son, James R. Hostetler of Palmyra RD 2. He retired from the B & O Railroad in 1949 following 36 years service. He was a member of the Connellsville Church of the Brethren, and a former member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Etta H. (Cramer) Hostetler, who died in 1960, and his second wife, Saddie Ruth (Cramer) Hostetler who died in 1969. Also preceded in death by a son, J. Harry in 1919. He was the last of his immediate family. Family will receive friends today 2 to 4 and 6 to 10 p.m. at the L. John Powell Funeral Home, South Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
