 HOSTETLER
  
 Helen V. Hostetler, 77, Confluence RD 3, died Dec. 4, 1988, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 9, 1911, in Addison Township,
  daughter of Peter and Anna (Livengood) Gower.  Preceded in death by
  husband, Andrew, a son, Ronald "Tom", and a sister, Ethel Smith. 
  Survived by children: Robert Max, Confluence; Norma Jean, Confluence;
  Warren Lee, Sneads Ferry, N.C.; and Jack, Confluence; 8 grandchildren,
  12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and one
  brother, Mahlon Gower, Hawkins, Texas.  Friends will be received from
  10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence,
  where funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Richard
  McClintock officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
