 HOSTETLER
  
 Irene A. Hostetler, 81, of Meyersdale died Nov. 1, 1998, in
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born July 17, 1917, in Meyersdale, a daughter of
  the late Henry F. and Susan May (Smeak) Linderman.  Preceded in death
  by her husband, William R., in 1988, and a sister, Mildred Wedge.
  Survived by two daughters, Joyce, wife of Allan Chubb of Annandale,
  Va., and Lois, wife of Charles Barathloft of Gainesburg, Md; 4
  grandchildren: Gregg and Kevin Chubb, Deb Yoder and Pam Oberlin; 4
  great-grandchildren: Lindsay, Collin, Abrigail and John.  Also a
  brother, Clarence E. Lindeman [sic] of Baltimore, Md.  Member of Zion
  Lutheran Church, where she was active in the quilting group.  She was
  an employee of Meyersdale Mfg. Co.  Friends will be received from 7
  to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Leckemby
  Funeral Home, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, with
  Rev. Randall Marburger officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
