Born Oct. 10, 1962, in Waynesburg, son of the late Philip "Hosey" Hostetler and Victory (Baum), married to David Lepley of Shanksville. Also survived by his wife, the former Ronda Lee Harkcom, and son, John Baum II. Brother of Dorothy Schwaller of Elsmere, Ky.; Philip S. of Berlin RD 1, and Rayna of Shanksville; maternal grandparents, John and Virginia Baum of Friedens RD 1; paternal grandparents, Richard "Noppy" and Irma Hostetler of Berlin RD 1, and father- and mother-in-law, Robert E. and Romayne Harkcom of Berlin. He was the owner of Harris Bake Shoppe of Berlin and was formerly employed by Leiss Tool and Die of Somerset. He attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Melvin A.
