Hostetler, 83, of Somerset, formerly of Markleton, died December 26, 1976 in the Somerset Community Hospital. Born September 10, 1893 in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, son of Edward and Flora (Kreger) Hostetler. Survived by three sons: Lester M. Hostetler Jr., of Somerset; Richard, Valparaiso, Indiana; Edward T., Uniontown; three daughters: Mrs. Helen Nicholson, Rockwood Rd 3; Mrs. Shirley Spangler, Somerset; Mrs. Betty Bluebaugh of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters: Mrs. Alice Cramer and Mrs. Velma Shaw, both of Markleton RD 1; 12 grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Meyers Hostetler on April 13, 1969; also by two brothers and two sisters. Member of the Kingwood I.O.O.F. Lodge and of the World War I of the United States of America, Inc. Also a member of the Kingwood Church of God where he taught Sunday School for many years. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood FLuneral [sic] Home, Rockwood, from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday where services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Tobias and the Rev.
