Born Oct. 18, 1925 at Indian Head, a daughter of the late Frank M. and Maude M. (Sleasman) Showman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arden C. Hostetler in 1991, a sister Lois Beryl Hostetler and three brothers Lewis Merle, Robert and Donald Showman. Survived by her loving children, Gerald "Ardie" Hostetler and his wife Sandra of Somerset and Bonnie Blair and her husband H. Greg of Hollsopple; grandchildren: Troy L. Hostetler of Safty Harbor, Fla., Chad E. Hostetler, Orlando, Fla., Tracy Walker and husband Matthew of Johnstown and Haylee Bunnell and her husband Nathan of Johnstown; and great-grandchild, Madison Walker. Sister of, Joseph Showman and his wife June of Mt. Pleasant, Harvey Showman of Mill Run, Mary Good of Uniontown, Marlene Berger of White, Beverly Tamburino of Pittsburgh and a sister-in-law Mary Showman of Indian Head. Loretta had been living with her daughter, Bonnie, in Hollsopple for the last five years. Before that she had been a long-time resident of Bakersville. Prior to her retirement she worked with her late husband Arden Hostetler, as owner and operator of Hostetler's Exxon in Bakersville for many years. She was a member of the Millertown Community Church. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, the hour of service in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Route 711 Melcroft. The Rev. William Blair officiating. Committal service and interment will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Saltlick Twp.
