Hostetler, 69, of Dairy Road, Hollsopple, died Nov. 23, 1998, at UPMC Hospital, Johnstown. Born Oct. 3, 1929, in Richland Township, the daughter of Ervin and Eva (Giffin) Wingard. Preceded in death by parents, infant sister and two infant brothers, husband Paul L., and son-in-law, Scott Mostoller. Survived by these children: Rebecca, wife of Leonard Lichvar of Stoystown; Ruth and Calvin, both of Hollsopple; Rachel Mostoller, Hooversville, five grandchildren: Laurel and Logan Lichvar; and Maggie, Eva and Hattie Mostoller. A sister of Leona Miller, Davidsville; and David Wingard of Johnstown. Loving mother and grandmother. A member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, where she served as Sunday School teacher and was active in her church activities. She was a life-time farmer and a member of Pa. Farm Bureau. Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc., Davidsville. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, where remains will lie in state from 11 a.m. until time of service, the Rev. Beverly Good officiating.
