 HOSTETLER
  
 Mary E. Hostetler, 85, of Somerset RD 6, died March 23, 1983, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 25, 1898, in Stonycreek
  Township, a daughter of the late Mahlon and Ida Belle (Glessner)
  Landis.  Preceded in death by husband, Ira D.; an infant son; and a
  stepdaughter, Alice.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Herbert
  (Sarah) Shumaker, Somerset RD 6, with whom she resided; Harold,
  Dunellen, N.J.; and John, Johnstown; also a stepdaughter, Florence
  Bell; and a stepson, Merle Hostetler.  No visitation.  Services at
  the convenience of family, with burial in McGregor Cemetery,
  Cairnbrook, under the direction of the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home.
