 RUTH HOSTETLER
  
   Ruth A. Hostetler, 73, Confluence, died Aug. 24, 1978, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born July 11, 1905, she was a daughter of the
  late Walter and Elizabeth (Schurg) Logsdon.
    She is survived by the following children: Betty Ruthkowski,
  Ursina; James E. Jr., Willoughby, Ohio; Roy E., Ursina; Mabel
  Tressler, Confluence; and Ruth Parnell, Harnedsville; 21
  grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Mrs. Alberta
  Cramer, Conroe, Texas, and Mrs. Francis Whaley, Buena Vista, Cal.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, James; one son, Ralph;
  and two sisters.
    Friends were being received after 7 p.m. Friday at the Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral services were held Sunday at
  2 p.m. with the Rev. Donald DeHaven officiating.  Interment, Jersey
  Cemetery.
