Hostetler, 77, of Jones Mills, Pa., passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Mar. 21, 1921, at Champion, a daughter of the late Roy and Emma Geary Hostetler. Member of the Mt. Nebo Church of God where she served as a Sunday School teacher, member of the church choir as a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Survived by a son, John Hostetler and wife Pat of Jones Mills; 3 daughters: Darlene Stevanus and husband John of Rockwood; Donna Faye McDonald and husband Fred of Flemington, W.Va., and Ruby Collins and husband John of Somerset; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Martin of Somerset RD 4, and Mrs. Lorraine Salmon of Wilkinsburg, Pa. She was predeceased by her husband, William Kenneth Hostetler, on July 25, 1996; a grandson, Kenneth John Hostetler Jr.; a brother, Leroy Hostetler, and six infant brothers. Friends will be received at The Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc. on Rt. 711 at Melcroft today (Saturday) from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from noon until 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday, with Rev. Wendell Grimm and Pastor Don Judy officiating. Committal and interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery at Champion. Daily American, October 3, 1998 [H1739]
