"Stick" Hostetler, 40, of 117 Lenore St., Bedford, died at 6:35 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at UPMC Bedford Memorial, Snake Spring Twp. Born in Meyersdale, Somerset County, Pa., on Saturday, Aug 8, 1959, he was a son of the late Frank Hostetler and Helen (Clutter) Hostetler, who survives him, of Salisbury. He was an employee at PBS Coal and Stone, where he was a welder and highlift operator for 14 years. He was the husband of Karon S. (Mock) Hostetler, whom he married on Dec. 13, 1993. He was affiliated with St. John's Lutheran Church in Salisbury. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother and daughter, Brandi Hostetler, Salisbury; sister Anita, wife of Kenneth Hersh, Winchester, Va. William was preceded in death by his father. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, with Rev. Kerry Cathers officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
