Boyd was born July 20, 1947 in Meyersdale, a son of the late Harold and Jane (Hetz) Hotchkiss. He is survived by his wife Peggy A. (Pleiness) Hotchkiss; daughter, Kimberly Rose; three grandchildren: Justina, Jordan, and Jenessa; brothers: Raymond and John, both of Croswell, MI; sisters: Cindy Lenny, Olson, Chicago, IL; Alice (Don) Thogerson, Marietta, GA; Helen (Roger) Wahl, Meyersdale; Mary, Irvin, TX. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Fort Huron Housing Commission. He was a member of the Moose Lodge while there. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Cremation arrangements were made by Jowett Funeral Home. Inurement Lakeside Cemetery, Fort Huron, MI.
